Greetings from the Veracruz International Women’s Mentoring Exchange
Veracruz is beautiful! The travelers have arrived and they are enthusiastic about being here. There are many new faces, yet many familiar ones as well. These women come expecting something big from God and we know He’s not going to let them down—especially after what some of them have had to do to get here.
Thursday started with a wonderful breakfast together. One of the travelers played her violin for us and another got our blood flowing with some lively guitar music. And the food was delicious.
During the teaching time, Marilyn spoke on vision and encouraged the women in their own ministries. She shared with them how she started in ministry, and had a time of questions and answers with everyone. The women were inspired but the video report from Marilyn’s trip to Sudan that was shown and loved seeing how God is using women to minister in Muslim countries.
At the evening meal, Marilyn shared her expectations for both the women’s conference and Leadership Training Conference. She anointed their hands followed by a time of worship. The day ended with great anticipation for what God has in store tomorrow. Check back for details!
